Welcome to the Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia Homeownership Program Expression of Interest Form. Thank you for considering homeownership through our program. This form serves to identify housing needs within specific communities and assess eligibility for our affordable homeownership opportunities. By completing this form, you are expressing your interest in homeownership with Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia. Please understand that filling out this form does not guarantee a placement in a Habitat for Humanity home, but it does help us better understand the needs of our community. If you meet the pre-qualification criteria for an affordable homeownership opportunity for a home in Bridgewater or Liverpool, a Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia representative will reach out to you at the appropriate time. In order to qualify for Habitat for Humanity's Homeownership Program, you must meet the following criteria: You must be willing to partner with Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia. You must be able to demonstrate your ability to pay an affordable mortgage capped at 30 per cent of your income on a monthly basis. You must demonstrate that you are in core housing need as defined by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
