Habitat’s Stud-A-Thon Fundraiser

The Stud-A-Thon is a special fundraising event where individuals, families, businesses, and community groups can purchase a wooden stud for $250. These studs are more than just pieces of lumber—they become the foundation upon which dreams are built. Use paint, markers and other creative materials to add messages of hope, drawings or your company’s logo. Each stud purchased will be used to frame a Habitat home, helping provide safe, affordable housing for families in Nova Scotia.

Each submission from a student in Nova Scotia results in a $10 donation to Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia.

Students can participate by submitting their written entries online during the contest period. Visit the Meaning of Home website for contest details, entry guidelines and submission instructions.
