Dartmouth, NS – Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia is honoured and grateful to announce that our second annual fundraiser, Habitat’s HUGE House Party, was a tremendous success. The event welcomed over 300 guests to the Steele Wheels Motor Museum in Bayers Lake, raising more than $121,000 in support of Habitat. The proceeds will support Habitat in its work to help families build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership.
The evening featured electrifying performances by Classified, Shameless, and DJ Karate Kactus, and was hosted by Turk and Amateur Alex from Virgin Radio Halifax’s Morning Show. Guests enjoyed the opportunity to meet Ricky from Trailer Park Boys, bid on a day on the set of the television series The Trades, participate in a silent auction, and enter a raffle for two round-trip tickets to any regular WestJet destination.
