Volunteer Spotlight
“When my husband and I retired, we knew that we would be looking for an opportunity to volunteer somewhere for at least one day a week. We saw that Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia was seeking volunteers in the Halifax area, so we filled in an online application. The very next day we joined a build in Spryfield, helping out with last minute trim and painting so a family could move in before Christmas and we were hooked!”
