At Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia, we believe everyone deserves a safe, decent and affordable place to call home. Since 1992, we’ve partnered with individuals and families across the province to help build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership.
We don’t give away homes—we offer a hand up, not a handout. Through partnerships with volunteers, donors and community organizations, Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.
Our impact goes beyond the build site. The Habitat ReStore in Dartmouth offers a sustainable way to shop and donate for good—supporting our work while keeping usable items out of landfills. And with the launch of our Habitat Home RePair program, we’re helping low-income homeowners stay safely and comfortably in their existing homes by providing critical repairs.
Together, we’re helping families in Nova Scotia build a strong foundation for a brighter future.
